As a recruiting partner of Classtime, we are looking for you as Senior Software Engineer (a) to strengthen the EdTech start-up in Schlieren, Zurich or from your home office within Switzerland. In your position, you will play a critical role in assuring that the platform runs smoothly and that the quality of the product remains high.

• Lead development of features, experiments, technical projects and complex systems
• Be a technical architect, mentor, and driver towards the right technology
• Build user-friendly websites with current technologies including Typescript, Java, Python, Kotlin and C++
• Continue to evolve the architecture and build better software
• Be a major contributor to the agile and scrum practices

• Degree in computer science
• You have several years of experience in developing software
• You are very familiar with at least three of following programming languages: Typescript, Java, Python, Kotlin, C++
• You are an expert in writing unit tests, in refactoring code to improve readability, abstractions and reduce redundancy
• You have good communication skills

• Experience leading a developer team
• Experience with micro-services, kubernetes and writing web-apps (React, HTML, CSS)
• You have experience in working with agile project management
